Here at Demon Seeds we source and sell some of the most sought after cannabis seeds on the market, we also like to keep a close eye on news and relevant, interesting stories surrounding cannabis and cannabis seeds. Recently we learnt that film director Oliver Stone has declared his belief that the USA is producing some of the world’s finest weed.
Oliver Stone is well educated in the world of cannabis having smoked the drug all over the world, from Jamaica and South Sudan to Vietnam and Thailand. But the filmmaker says the best weed is produced in the USA and that cannabis could be a huge growth industry for taxpayers if it were legalized. Oliver first began smoking cannabis back in the 1960’s whilst he was a solider in the Vietnamese war, he believes that the drug helped him and many of his comrades to relax and stay in touch with themselves whilst out in the jungle.
Oliver Stone has directed many popular films such as ‘Wall Street’, ‘Nixon’, and ‘JFK’ his newest film ‘Savages’ is due to hit the box office this month, it has been described as drug-war thriller and stars actresses Blake Lively and Salma Hayek. The film offers a fictional portrait of violence among a Mexican drug cartel and California cannabis growers that makes the legalisation of the drug seem like a good option.
In a recent interview to promote his new film Oliver spoke about how America is producing some of the best cannabis in the world and about the benefits of the legalisation of the drug, he stated that "It can be done. It can be done legally, safely, healthy, and it can be taxed and the government can pay for education and stuff like that. Also, you can save a fortune by not putting kids in jail."
As a cannabis enthusiast Oliver is also going to be on the August issue cover of marijuana magazine ‘High Times’ pictured smoking a joint.
